Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using J2EE technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze software requirements. Lead and participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment. Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of applications. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code, adhering to coding standards and best practices. Develop web applications, services, and APIs using J2EE technologies like Servlets, JSP, EJB, and Spring Framework. Implement and optimize database interactions using JDBC and Hibernate. Work on front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks to create user-friendly interfaces. Troubleshoot and resolve complex software defects and performance issues. Collaborate with product managers and business analysts to refine software requirements and ensure successful project delivery. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers and team members. Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of software applications. Stay current with emerging Java technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing improvements to existing systems. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment, and provide input at each stage. Perform code reviews to maintain code quality and integrity. Participate in Agile/Scrum or other software development methodologies to deliver projects on time and within scope. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software development and security. Work with the following technologies: Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate, Servlets, JSP, SQL, JDBC, Oracle/MySQL databases, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular/React/Vue.js (if applicable), Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) like Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, Version control systems (e.g., Git), Issue tracking and project management tools (e.g., JIRA).


Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology or related discipline with 5 years of experience as Computer Software Professional. Jobs based in Tempe, AZ but require relocation/travel to unanticipated locations throughout the US.
