Must-Haves

Associate degree from an accredited professional nursing school Required.

Certifications: ACLS required upon hire.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required upon hire.

Arizona Registered Nurse and/or Compact State Registered Nurse Required.


Nice-To-Haves

ASPAN Certification preferred.

Bachelor's degree preferred.

NIH stroke certification preferred.

3 years' experience in PACU/ACU.


The PACU/ASU Registered Nurse promotes and restores patients’ health by completing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for pre and post-operative patients recovering from general, local, and regional anaesthesia based upon age specific and cultural needs.
