The company plans to continue leveraging technology and top tier talent to enhance customer service and offer new product lines and services. ARCHERs core offerings are post-settlement Healthcare Lien Resolution Administration and QSF (Qualified Settlement Fund) Administration and payments processing for multi-claimant (mass tort and class action) litigation. Other services include claims administration, single event lien resolution, probate and bankruptcy coordination, release administration, medical records review, and plaintiff fact sheet and other intake/census preparation and management. ARCHER enables law firms to focus on their litigation while ensuring that critical pre-settlement and post-settlement administration documents, services, business analytics and reporting are handled efficiently and effectively. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP SYSTEMS REPORTING RELATIONSHIP SYSTEMS Position Reports To: VICE PRESIDENT INDIA FINANCE DEPARTMENT: qsf ACCOUNTING Position Location: vadodara, india Company: archer transnational systems pvt ltd POSITION SUMMARY POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Manager Tax & Compliance will assist the QSF Accounting leadership in the management of regulatory compliance related to Qualified Settlement Funds (QSFs) including designing and implementing scalable processes to accommodate company growth. Senior Manager is responsible for ensuring timely regulatory compliance of all Qualified Settlement Funds (QSFs) as well as maintaining proper documentation on policies and procedures relating to tax and compliance. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Enforcing documented system of accounting policies, procedures and internal safeguards for assigned team and functions Planning, directing, and coordinating assignments for direct reports Ensuring goals and objectives are on track and achieved for assigned area(s) Training, developing and leading assigned accounting team with the goal of maximizing the strengths of each team member to create an efficient, high functioning team Managing 468B Trust regulatory compliance, including Federal Tax Returns and 1099s for all QSFs Design and Management of Escheatment process, as required Supporting & coordinating with on-shore team based out of overseas offices Develop & publish reporting metrics of KPIs Perform additional duties as assigned to support the finance team Understand and adhere to all company policies, including but not limited to security, trade secrets and confidentiality of all information PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE Graduation (Bachelors) in Business, Accounting or Finance; Masters degree and/or CPA-US qualification will be an advantage 15+ years of work experience including 3-5 years Accounting/Project Management experience and Federal tax compliance experience required preferably in BPO/KPO/ITES industries Strong understanding of internal controls Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and/or Oracle NetSuite highly preferred Experience with Microsoft Office, including excellent Excel skills Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and priority setting skills Experience using ERP accounting systems as well as QuickBooks and/or Oracle NetSuite, preferred Federal Tax background, preferred Ability to design and documenting processes Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal with problem solving ability Strong attention to detail BEHAVORIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES BEHAVORIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES Positive attitude and high on professional morale Ability to effectively work with cross functional teams Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment Must be multi-task oriented and able to work with frequent interruptions Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and priority setting skills.
