Connect Direct AdminLocation: Remote The following skill set is needed for IBM Connect Direct (running on z/OS) sometimes known as NDM (Network data Mover from sterling days) Should know how to use Connect direct as administrator. Familiar with the screens to help customer support as needed. Set up new nodes for transfers to external customers. (Net mapping tool) Knowledge how to set up secure transfers using Connect Direct. Understanding how to look up PTFs or work with IBM LINK to trouble shoot issues as the arise. Understands the initialization parameters of Connect Direct. Understanding working on any performance issues and troubleshooting L1 & L2 Knowledge of how to set up a trace for trouble shooting with L3 or IBM support as needed.
