Associate, Investment Strategy sought by Apollo Management Holdings LP in New York, NY to develop and execute growth initiatives across all aspects of Apollo’s investing businesses; and to assist the Private Equity Principal in all aspects of business management in addition to developing and delivering on Private Equity’s strategic ambitions. Position requires a US Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field and two (2) years of experience constructing corporate valuations and complex pro forma analyses of public and private companies; creating Accretion/Dilution (M&A) financial models, bottoms-up financial models, new business pitches, and transaction marketing materials; analyzing companies’ credit risks, industry and business risks, financial projections, and growth opportunities; analyzing the corporate capital structures and financial outlook of companies; determining the theoretical fair value of the outstanding debt utilizing secondary market prices levels, and; evaluating new loan origination and syndication opportunities. Technical skills: Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ, Dealogic, Preqin, Excel, Financial Modelling, Financial Valuation Methodologies, Financial Statements Analysis and Accounting, Corporate Debt Pricing and Valuation, Capital Markets Quantitative Analysis.
