Job Duties: Static code analysis, code assessments and remediation. Perform threat modeling on Acquired infrastructure and products. Perform penetration tests and vulnerability assessments on IaaS platforms, with a focus on AWS. Perform penetration tests and vulnerability assessment on CI/CD platforms. Contribute to our penetration testing program and toolkit. Research new threats, attack vectors and risks. Drive remediation and adoption to Salesforce’s security standards & practices. Facilitate removal or remediation of vulnerabilities in collaboration with our broader engineering and operations teams. Script/develop in Python, Go, Java, Ruby, etc. to automate security control. Build, deploy, and maintain security controls. Collaborate with your colleagues. Perform penetration tests and vulnerability assessments. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. May be assigned to various, unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Application/product security assurance work; (2) IaaS with AWS focus (3) Python, Go, Ruby, and Java; (4) Software development lifecycle; (5) Static and dynamic code analysis tools; (6) Performing code and infrastructure design reviews; (7) Fuzzing applications and protocols; (8) Knowledge of assembly/exploit development; (9) Experience in infrastructure vulnerability assessments and remediation; (10) CI/CD; and (11) Linux systems. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. May be assigned to various, unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.

Salary: $160,700.00 - $265,200.00 per annum.
