Lead and perform business software system integration, and manage all system integration related projects, particularly in Salesforce, SAP, and Oracle areas, which Varian Sales uses to generate sales quotes, create sales orders, or service contracts; Capture business requirements by conducting user interviews and workshops and develop user stories to reflect the change requests; Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior staff members with Apex (for Salesforce), Java (for Dell Boomi), and ABAP (for SAP) programming languages; Work closely with junior staff members and provide coaching and technical knowledge with Apex, Java, and ABAP programming languages to improve the team’s knowledge and better support the Boomi system since each of these languages differ in syntax and structure; Establish middleware standards for team members to follow, and ensure the team has consistent processes across the unit; Implement and develop software solutions utilizing Apex and ABAP programming languages and Boomi standards while collaborating with other team members; Develop middleware solutions which will integrate different systems by passing data from one system to another; Provide oversight to the middleware group and ensure that they are able to resolve any issues that arise; Manage small to medium size software projects by using either the waterfall methodology or agile scrum methodology; Provide support in designing, building, testing, and deploying applications built on the Salesforce platform; Manage the software testing process, which includes devising test plans, creating test cases, establishing protocols, and coordinating software testing; Keep abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvement; Provide technical updates about system functionality and enhancements to ensure application users stay informed; and May lead a project or a team of junior analysts. Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or a computer related occupation.

Special Requirements: At least five (5) years of experience in each of the following: Boomi developer including Atom Sphere, Connectors and Process properties; Boomi integration processes and Atoms to integrate Salesforce Cloud Platform and SAP ERP back-end system; Software development cycle including debugging, code review and unit testing with Agile methodologies; Enhancing integration solutions for business operations including Data Mapping and Sequence Diagrams using Boomi; Support and troubleshoot Boomi and Salesforce Production issues; Salesforce Apex and ABAP programing; and Integration technologies such as web services, SOAP, REST using standard data profiles such as JSON, XML, OData, Data base and Flat file.

Rate of Pay: $155,464.99/year
