LMDD Enterprises, Inc. (dba Dixon Hard Chrome) has an opening for a President and General Manager in Sun Valley, CA. Duties: Develop and execute a strategy for growth. Lead sales efforts and execute a plan that identifies new target markets. Identify areas of opportunity and strategies to improve performance. Work with the management team on plans. Understand customer and vendor contracts; negotiate areas of risks. Support management with recruiting. Review and approve cost control reports, cost estimates and facilities requirements. Monitor plating quality, internal and external non-conformances, and support NADCAP audits. Requires: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, or a related field, or foreign equivalent. 6 years of experience in job offered as President and General Manager, or any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must have 6 years of experience in the following:



· Experience in the electroplating industry.

· Running a manufacturing shop and meeting targets, including 5 years in managerial role.

· Working with wet chemistry and hull cell test and salt spray test for electroplating bath; calculating to meet requirements; preparing recipes to add chemicals and additives; design and construction of racks and fixtures to plate parts; use of inspection tools; and completing visual inspection.

· Working with budgets and staff planning/forecasting and managing labor to ensure profitability.

· Supporting P&L, costing and pricing models, and inventory management.

· Working to develop teams with department leaders and personnel.

· Reading drawings and specifications, identifying area, materials, rack selection and sequence of process, determining densities and number of parts to be plated.

· Working with quality and environment management systems in accordance with Quality Management System and/or NADCAP/ISO 9001 accreditations.

· Working with metal finishing processes for aerospace and/or commercial industries.



Must be willing to travel across Canada.
