Job Description: Lead Java Developer Data Migration

Location: Phoenix, AZ 85027 (3-5Days onsite)

Duration: 6 to 8+ months

Responsibilities:

Data migration project focused on modernizing apps and moving them to Google Cloud Platform. Responsibilities: As a Mid-Level Application Lead, you'll use your expertise in Java, Spring-boot, and Cloud Platforms to design and implement effective data management solutions. Your daily tasks involve analyzing client needs, designing solutions, and collaborating for project success. Foster effective collaboration across teams to ensure the seamless integration to Google Cloud Platform. Provide expert technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the implementation lifecycle. Conduct system testing & troubleshooting to optimize the performance of data management solution.
Onsite team lead.

Work directly with Product owners and developers and leaderships team
Expertise in:

Java, Spring-boot, Spark, GCP, Airflow
Participate in requirement gathering and analysis
Comfortable in Agile
Able to be onsite 3-5 days per week
Lead the effort in turning data into actionable business insights
Client Note:

The client is currently working on data transformation and modernization. They want to modernize their apps to migrate them to Google Cloud Platform for more efficient data management. The ideal candidate has 4-8+ years of experience in Java Development, Spring Boot, and big data (preferably Spark, Airflow, and/or Google Cloud). Other cloud experience would be nice to have, but it is not required.
This person will be part of a team of 8 to 10 people, 5 of which will be offshore. The ideal candidates must be a strong communicator and should be able to make valuable contributions to conversations revolving around design and architecture reviews. They must be comfortable with regularly working 3 to 5 days onsite as they will be building a relationship with their team and the client.
