Marsh McLennan is seeking candidates with strong commercial skills and depth knowledge/experience in Construction & Infraestructure industry for the following position based in Monterrey or Ciudad de Mxico:


Business Development Manager (Construction & Infrastructure)

We will count on you to:

Developing new business opportunities and managing relationships with clients, project managers, insurers, Banks and Investments Institutions.
Identify and research potential clients.
Develop and maintain client relationships.
Coordinate with Cluster teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals.
Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders.
Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed.
Gather useful information from customer and competitor data.
Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives.
Create and implement processes and policies to support the overall business.
Track, identify and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline.
Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business.
Track and report on the status of proposal components.
Conduct ongoing market research.
Work with the Specialty Director the pricing strategy to create rate proposals.
Drive the end-to-end sales process with prospects and customers(buy-in).
Prepare and submit quotation/RFP/sales contracts.


What you need to have:

Bachelors degree.
At least 5 years in Capital Investment Companies / investment Banks (development and/or Commercial) and/or construction material suppliers focused con Infrastructure & Construction Projects
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills to effectively interact with colleagues at all levels both in English and Spanish.
Strong project management skills.
Experience dealing with the Construction & Infrastructure industry including Feasibility process, project finance, planning and construction
Excellent problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions
Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
Ability and willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing clients (up to 50%)
Goal driven.
Strong negotiation & influencing skills.
Ability to create, develop & sustain business relationships with various business areas and customers.
