Reporting to the Executive Manager, the
Divisional Manager, Broking
is a leadership position, responsible for managing alternative risk transfer programs and traditional insurance placements through to renewal with local and state government clients, as well as the development and mentoring of the Account Management Team.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both from home and our Marsh Melbourne office.

We will count on you to:

Drive and manage placements through to renewal.
Manage the renewal process.
Ensure compliance in operations.
Deliver the JLT Public Sector value proposition to the clients
Lead and mentor the Account Management Team.
Target the training needs of Mutual Members through the presentation of client forums and webinars
Participate in the JLT Public Sector Management team.

What you need to have:

Extensive experience as a Senior Broker with a focus on Affinity or Risk Management clients.
Experience leading and mentoring a high-performing team.
Strong understanding of insurance products, master policies and underwriting principles.
Public speaking experience, and the ability to present in forums and webinars for members, and the ability to effectively manage meetings and groups.

What makes you stand out?

Experience dealing with mutuals or discretionary trusts.
Experience working with Local Governments.
