No C2C. ONLY W2The Storage infrastructure recovery engineer is responsible for creating and executing restoral plans for active production devices. This will include identifying backup mechanisms required to restore an existing production storage (Block, SAN and File) device to production ready with all required client allocations and presentations. The role requires a self-starter to work with engineering, operations and associated vendors to identify all requirements on each storage product certified for use in our enterprise architecture systems of record to a fully restored configuration client ready storage presentation. The role assumes a working device was factory reset and the steps required to fully restore with exception of client data are documented, tested, operationalized and available for use across the enterprise.Strong knowledge of configuring storage products to include Dell storage (PowerMax, VMAX and Isilon) Cisco SAN MDS, Brocade SAN directors, NetApp (cDot FAS/AFF) devices.
