As the Electrical Engineer for this growing heavily industrial manufacturer, youll be responsible for the high voltage switchyard and all related power distribution systems in the plant. Youll set safety protocols, budgets, and work with all levels of the organization. This is a highly visible position!



Your basic skillset & experience will need to include experience designing, rebuilding, installing new and refurbished equipment, and commissioning such as high voltage transformers, switchgear, rectifier systems, transmission lines, & metering. Ability to lead the CAPEX budget for electrical projects and provide projections, implement plans and track progress. Ability to provide immediate failure response to get systems back online. Youll develop and implement multi-year maintenance plans that support predictive & preventive maintenance for the electrical systems. Youll be a valuable part of our safety programs and provide expertise regarding safe work zones, safety protocol & related audits throughout the plant.



Minimum requirements for this Electrical Engineer for Power Systems:



  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering

  • At least 3 years experience with high voltage & power distribution systems in an industrial setting such as metals, foundry or heavy industry manufacturing

  • Proficient with computer programs MS Office; prefer SAP.
