Implements programs for ingestion/consumption frameworks. Performs end-to-end design and builds less-code/ncode frameworks for reusable plug-n-play components. Creates a platform for comprehensive monitoring of Five Below's customers. Leverages Databricks as a unified data analytics platform and Kafka (MQ) as an enterprise integration tool to integrate/ingest large volumes of data. Transforms data to create business partner, data scientist, and marketer friendly datasets. Develops a comprehensive understanding of customer and marketing data requirements, including how data is created, collected, and consumed across Five Below's marketing divisions. Creates queries for complex customer segments and audiences. Develops and provides day-to-day support of Five Below’s in-house tools such as Sematic, Data Quality, Data governance (Lineage & Data Catalog), and real time and batch streaming frameworks. Defines data schemas and data abstractions for multiple customer profile types within the CDP, enabling their use for marketing activation via the customer 360 activation platform. Coordinates with data engineers to monitor data quality and ensures production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders, data science users, and business processes that depend on it. Works with data analysts, data scientists, marketers, and product owners to understand marketing, customer, and product data requirements and use cases. Resolves any technical issues encountered by data scientists and business partners. Virtual/work from home benefit available.
Requires a Master’s degree in any STEM (science, technology, engineering, or math) field and 2 years of IT experience (or a Bachelor’s degree in any STEM (science, technology, engineering, or math) field and 5 years’ IT experience). Must have experience with: Agile methodologies and ceremonies; continuous development, deployment, testing, integration, and monitoring knowledge; Lean/Agile frameworks and methods including Kanban, SAFe, and Scrum; and cloud components including PAAS, SAAS, and IAAS.
