Cedarlane Projects Inc. is seeking an experience Carpenter. Its a full-time, permanent position, 40 hours/week, $30.00/hour. 4% paid vacation.

Start date: As soon as possible.
Work location: Various locations in Vancouver Mainland
Business Address: 2426 176th Street, Surrey, BC, V3S 9W5

As a Carpenter you will be expected to perform the following duties:
Measuring, cutting, and fastening materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials;
Read and interpret blueprints;
Preparing and building foundation systems, installation floor beans and joisting systems laying subflooring, erecting walls and roof systems, fitting and installing doors and windows;
Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences;
Using and maintaining power and hand tools common to the trade;
Providing feedback and evaluation of progress and deficiencies within the scope of assigned work;
Training constructions helpers and assessing their progress.

Requirements:
Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Carpenter;
Presentable, professional and with excellent work ethic;
Position is physically demanding;
Must be able to work under minimum supervision;
Must be able to work at heights, in confined, noisy, and/or dusty spaces;
Must be able to handle heavy loads;
Must have excellent problem solving, decision making, job task planning and organizing skills;
Must have own steel-toed boots and hard hat.
