Job Overview:



We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join the team of a premier manufacturing company located in Monroe. This is a direct hire opportunity.



Schedule: Monday Friday, Hybrid Capabilities



Compensation: Up to $55,000 (Depending on Experience)

The Human Resources Generalist will be part of the HR Department, a team of 3, supporting all HR functions, management, and staff for the Monroe facility including employee relations, compliance, benefits, recruiting and onboarding, etc.



What Youll Do:



Interpret and explain human resources policies, federal and applicable state laws, standards, and regulations.


Process bi-weekly payroll.


Maintain current knowledge of Equal Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).


Prepare Affirmative Action Plan and files EEO-1 & VETS-100 annually.


Monitor and reconcile monthly benefits invoices from TPAs for accuracy and payment submission to the finance department.


Lead on-boarding and orientation efforts for new hires, including departmental itineraries.


Assist in the employee evaluation and compensation review.


Assist in the open enrolment process.


Maintain employee handbook, companywide communications, and archives.


Maintain safety related files, including employees training files (both electronic and file).


Arrange and communicate annual background and drug screen requirements to impacted employees.


Maintain employee job descriptions and essential functions ensuring periodic review by employees and managers with updated signatures on file.


Maintain and track the necessary metrics for the employee incentive plan.


Participate in preparing annual department budget, including tracking expenses throughout the year.


Assist in the development of training resources for regulatory compliance, managerial topics, and skill enhancements.


Assist in planning in-house and off-site company events.


Assist and support recruiting efforts such as contacting candidates and coordinating interview schedules.


Other duties as assigned.


What Youll Need:



Bachelors Degree Human Resources or HR Designation and at least 3 years experience OR Associates Degree with 6 years related experience.


Flexibility for travel, as necessary.


Excellent Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint knowledge.


Excellent organizing, planning, and prioritizing skills; time management.


Ability to handle sensitive employee issues with professionalism and confidentiality.


Service oriented in support of internal and external customers.


Ability to establish and maintain employee relationships.


Flexibility, creative, adaptable, willingness, and support continuous learning and improvement.
