Summary / Role Purpose

As a CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) Compliance Manager, you will be a direct report to the Ansys Government Initiatives (AGI) Director of Cybersecurity and play a crucial role in overseeing and implementing cybersecurity practices within our organization. You will be responsible for documenting and ensuring compliance with CMMC standards, coordinating with various departments, and facilitating the development and execution of cybersecurity strategies. This position will be remote for the right candidate with occasional required travel to HQ in Exton, PA at the discretion of the AGI Director of Cybersecurity.

This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.


Key Duties and Responsibilities


Lead the implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures in accordance with CMMC requirements.

Conduct regular assessments to evaluate the organization's cybersecurity posture and identify areas for improvement.

Coordinate with relevant stake holders to track the implementation of required technical controls within the organization.

Provide guidance and support to departmental managers and staff on cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements.

Serve as the primary point of contact for CMMC-related inquiries and audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to regulatory agencies.

Maintain documentation and records related to CMMC policies, procedures, and compliance efforts.

Participate in cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity considerations into business processes and projects.

Stay abreast of updates and changes to CMMC standards and regulations, and communicate implications to relevant stakeholders.


Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience


Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field or 4 years of relevant work experience within the Cybersecurity field.

Excellent knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex technical and organizational challenges.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving results in a dynamic environment.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cybersecurity and compliance.

Familiarity with risk management principles and methodologies.

Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., government contracting, healthcare, finance) is a plus.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
