Sr Azure Virtual Desktop Cloud Engineer- financial services Locatin Charlotte, NC onsite 3 days a week is a must in this hybrid mode Duration: 12 months Position type: W2 contract What you will do: Serve as escalation point for anything related to our Virtual Desktop ecosystem and drive day to day administration and management. Provide ongoing senior level guidance and support for cloud technologies. Create and proactively maintain accurate documentation. Automate typical daily provisioning and decommissioning Virtual Desktops, incidents, requests, and problem management in our ticketing system. Proactively ensure the highest levels of reliability in our Virtual Desktop environment. Contribute to maintain our Cloud Operations KPIs and SLAs related to Virtual Desktops. Troubleshooting and analysis of system issues. Implement hygiene processes to enhance our teammate experience with Virtual Desktops. Contribute to capacity planning related forecasting and trending of our Virtual desktop environment. Mentoring other Engineers as needed. Other Tasks assigned by Management. Who you are: 5+ years of experience within Azure Virtual Desktops Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field System expertise in multiple technologies Cloud, Windows, Linux, VMWare, etc. Analytic, problem solving and technical skills Expertise in Automation, scripting, or coding MS Office 365 experience Active Directory/Azure AD Nice to haves: University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience Experience with cloud services, SaaS, IaaS.
