Role: Web Security Engineer Location: Newark, NJ (Remote) Duration: Long Term Job Description: Responsibility for the development and maintenance of the web security infrastructure. Responsibility for the development and maintenance of the web security infrastructure, provide in-depth technical consultation to business application development team to ensure development of efficient application systems utilizing established standards, procedures and methodologies and perform related duties as assigned or requested. Data Protection End Point Security Ops The Data Protection End Point Security Ops associate will collaboratively and holistically implement security controls aligned with enterprise goals. Coverage: Utilizes an overlap to prevent a single individual from negatively impacting work (Shift 1) 7:00AM ET to 4:00PM ET x1 (Shift 2) 4:00PM ET to 11:59 PM ET x1 Responsibilities: Collaborate with the data protection product owner and team to execute product vision & strategy Successfully provide operational support for the portfolio Demonstrate successful subject matter expertise with the tool sets provided Successfully troubleshoot issues that are identified (identify root cause, research, resolve) Successfully implement approved changes and provide quality assurance validation Participate in agile sprint and release plans, ensure strategic alignment of work effort Communicate effectively to key stakeholders and associates Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices to meet quality/time to market targets Skills / Qualifications: High degree of proficiency with end point security tools Ability to successfully execute changes and troubleshooting with the following technologies; Required Sentinel One XDR Pulse VPN Microsoft Defender (Windows & MacOS) Solid comprehension of Unix and Windows operating systems Additional Skills Zscaler ZIA & ZPA Symantec DLP Python, Go, Terraform Splunk queries and report writing Experience automating tasks with APIs or other coding languages a plus. As technologies change or new technologies are introduced, the operational support person will need to perform those responsibilities as well. Experience: This will be a hands-on role and the candidate must feel comfortable working with the technology in a production environment 3+ years working in a network security role Technology certifications related to the toolset preferred.
