The Account Executive Sales Representative is a pivotal role within our organization, tasked with managing and growing customer accounts to drive revenue. This individual will be responsible for identifying potential new clients, developing relationships, and closing sales deals. They will conduct market research to identify sales opportunities and monitor industry trends to stay ahead of the competition. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proven track record in food sales, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities also include negotiating contracts, maintaining client satisfaction, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with a dynamic approach to sales, capable of engaging with a variety of clients and closing deals efficiently. The Account Executive Sales Rep will report to the Sales Manager and work closely with our marketing team to develop effective sales strategies that align with company goals.


Additional responsibilities of an Account Executive Sales Rep may include:



  • Developing a thorough understanding of products and services offered by the company

  • Conducting presentations and product demonstrations for potential clients

  • Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions

  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure a smooth sales process for clients

  • Attending industry events and conferences to network and generate leads

  • Providing regular updates to the Sales Manager on market trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities


In addition to these responsibilities, an Account Executive Sales Rep should possess strong organizational skills and be able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously. They should also have a strong understanding of the sales process and be able to effectively manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing. This role requires someone who is driven, persistent, and results-oriented. They must be able to handle rejection and overcome obstacles to achieve their sales goals.
