Our client is a privately held energy producer that is looking to fill a Senior Accountant role.
While the company is not publicly traded, they desire strong Technical Accounting skills and experience working in a public environment. They do have public debt and work with international transactions, so they value public accounting even over Energy industry experience.
Day to Day responsibilities:
- Month-end closing duties for several separate entities
- Technical Accounting and GAAP research and memos
- Consolidation of monthly financials
- Reconciliations, journal entries and other month-end adjustments
- Monthly and quarterly analysis
Ideal candidates will have:
- 4+ years of total experience
- 2+ years of public accounting
- Advanced Excel experience
Competitive salary in the $100-110k range with significant cash bonus
