Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Machine Learning Scientist in Cambridge, MA:

Job Duties: Develop machine learning products geared towards e-commerce. Contribute to the recommendation and personalization capabilities of retailers as well as automating different aspects of merchandizing making retailers more effective and impactful. Contribute to the research, design, and construction of cutting-edge recommendation systems that is used by hundreds of millions of shoppers annually. Iterate and develop algorithmic/model-based approaches, based on machine learning techniques, to resolve retailers' prediction/targeting problems and improve their efficiency. Collaborate closely with software engineers & product managers to build and deploy the best approaches into a production quality service using modem programming languages. Devise new data products for use by digital commerce teams by applying state of the art machine learning techniques to product, shopper, and business-user data. Own and pursue long-term research goals that can lead to breakthrough advancements in various recommendation capabilities as well as research publications. Participate in sharing technical knowledge and presenting latest development in the projects to the team and wider data science community at salesforce. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Doctorate’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, OR Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Python; (2) Machine Learning; (3) Deep Learning; (4) PyTorch; (5) SQL; (6) Shell Script; (7) Natural Language Processing; (8) Pandas; and (9) Jupyter.
