BEUMER Corporation seeks a Field Service Engineer for its Somerset, NJ location to perform individual, electrical, and mechanical montage of automated lines for packaging, palletizing, and stretching based on delivered documentation as well as independent electrical and mechanical modifications. Requirements: At a minimum, two years’ experience in job offered or related occupation. The job also requires two years’ experience coordinating the installation and commissioning of electrical automated lines for packaging, palletizing, and stretch hooding sortation/distribution systems; knowledge of the design, function, and maintenance of intralogistics systems within the manufacturing and building materials sectors; and two years’ experience programming PLC automated controls using Siemens Step 7, Ladder, STL, Allen Bradley (all lines). The position requires travel up to 85% of the work schedule, which may include repeated long-term assignments (1 to several weeks) at various unanticipated project locations throughout the United States based on business needs.
