(Prefab Logistics LLC (DBA Prefab Logic) has an opening in Nampa, ID) Operations Manager: Responsible for technical training for modular instruction and creation for automation, assigning projects and resources, team member management and ensuring the overall success and health of the Pre-Construction Engineering Services firm. Develop and monitor Work Plans. Secure, monitor and correlate Forecasts and Billings. Assess and analyze departmental expenses to find ways to minimize them while optimizing profits. Identify potential problems and points of friction and find solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue. Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs. Find ways to increase the quality of customer service. Communicate with the board or other senior officials about shifting company priorities and projects. Prepare and monitor Project Awareness reports. Attend the weekly business call to provide updates on all operations. Attend annual Operations Leadership meeting and disseminating information to team. Long-term planning to create initiatives that further the company’s overall goals. Communicate with both executives and staff employees to create and administer policy. Respond quickly to a shifting reality and adjust initiatives and priorities accordingly. Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way. Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices. Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant. Formulate strategic and operational objectives. Be a technical resource to the team. Assign projects and resources. Provide technical training to team members including codes, REVIT software, and construction. Provide training for all new team members in utilizing tools and resources. Implementation of policies and strategies to improve productivity and efficiency levels. Monitor and maintain quality control of all project drawings and documentation. Assist in recruiting and attending new team member interviews and junior team member reviews. Meet with each team member individually monthly to discuss projects, financials, and their personal growth. Foster a strong team atmosphere with a positive attitude and good morale. Reassign team members to other offices and/or assist the General Manager with staff size adjustments. Coordinating different teams to foster exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities. Position involves supervision of employees. Requires a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related and 3 years of experience as an Operations Manager, Engineering Manager, Structural Project Designer, or related. 3 years must include (1) technical experience in the creation of automation data; (2) experience reading and interpreting architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing Submittals and Shop drawings; (3) experience with Revit; (4) and experience with MS Office products including MS Word and MS Excel. 2 years must include (1) management experience leading a technical team responsible for design, development of modular units and associated automation data; (2) R&D experience in data and automation; and (3) experience with MWF Framing Software. 1 year must include experience with (1) managing schedules and forecasts; and (2) development of training manuals.
