Play a key leading role on large engineering projects with respect to MEPFP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection) fieldwork and guide the team from conceptual design through construction document issuance and project completion. The position requires, at a minimum, a U.S. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering field, or the foreign degree equivalent; 5 years’ progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation; affiliation with one of the following major professional organizations – ASME or ASHRAE – at the time of hire; experience designing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing and fire protection systems from initial conceptual design to completion using Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit; experience reviewing QA/QC process coordination within mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) disciplines; experience preparing RFIs, preparing engineering deliverables, drawings, construction documents and design specifications to determine cost and feasibility; knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit BIM 360, Solid Works, ANSYS Workbench; knowledge of Trane Trace 700, Carrier HAP, ComCheck, Greenheck’s CAPS, Title-24, Energysoft.
