Position Title: Financial Analyst II

Location: Boston, Massachusetts


Position Responsibilities:

1. Own Amazon Go Financial Reporting. 2. Deliver the weekly/monthly financial close. 3. Use financial systems and advanced Excel functions to work with large data sets. 4. Understand input drivers and validate the integrity of the reporting to influence strategic decision-making and planning. 5. Use data to identify disruptive ideas and provide advice to business leaders. 6. Create effective business partnerships, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance based on data analysis during unexpected events. 7. Identify opportunities to resolve defects proactively. 8. Improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations. 9. Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its profitability and controllership. 10. Partial telecommuting permitted; employees will be required to report to office multiple days per week.

Position Requirements:

A master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, or related discipline and 1 year of experience in financial analysis. In the alternative, a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, or related discipline followed by 3 years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis. Experience must include: 1. 1 year of experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, Tableau, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards). 2. 1 year of experience analyzing business processes. 3. 1 year of experience designing and implementing controls. 4. 1 year of experience in financial reporting.


40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $90,688/year to $117,100/year
