Job Title: Quality Assurance Supervisor
Location: Norfolk, Nebraska
Salary: $60-75K

Job Summary of the Quality Assurance Supervisor: The QA Supervisor has the responsibility for managing the laboratory at the plant facility, ensuring work is completed as expected. The QA Supervisor is responsible for GMP compliance and plant quality audits.

Job Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Supervisor:
Lead, supervise and coach all QA personnel
Complete daily GMP audits and inspections. Summarize and log findings monthly.
Create and maintain SOPs to ensure laboratory compliance.
Manage analytical testing on raw materials, packaging, in process samples and finished products ensuring compliance with all quality specifications.
Assist with establishing quality assurance specifications for raw materials and finished products.
Coordinate in a timely manner the COA, analytical testing of ingredients and finished products.
Record all testing results in a timely manner.
Drive improvements by implementing efficient test methods, integrate lab functions with production schedules.
Assist with finished product problems, investigations and customer complaint reviews.
Work with QA to release product according to specifications.
Assist with GMP and HACCP education of the employees.
Perform internal quality control audits and assist with customer audit inspections.
Assist in bringing the Plant into SQF / BRC compliance. Monitor and communicate trends and issues on all finished products.
Assist Quality Assurance Manager in building and improving quality systems.
Oversee all environmental sampling.
Coordinate laboratory supply budget and order supplies as needed to support operations with the QA Manager.
Education & Experience of the Quality Assurance Supervisor:
3 years previous laboratory experience
Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and computer software applications.

Food or beverage manufacturing experience. Dairy background a plus.
Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Previous supervisory experience.
HACCP Certification, LECO Training, SQF Practitioner, Calibration Technician
