Global Environmental, Health & Safety Leader
- Our Lorain County, Ohio client company is a global manufacturer with operations in NA / SA / EU / Asia.
- Due to an internal promotion, they seek a director level, global, EHS leadership type, who can manage 6 direct reports (Regional EHS Mgr's) and create the global strategic and tactical direction for safety improvement initiatives and programs.
- Position will be 100% onsite, at the Corporate HQ, and responsible developing, deploying, and leading the strategic safety strategy for over 100 global manufacturing sites with approximately 10,000 associates.
- Will lead the implementation of global programs designed to reduce and ultimately minimize risk in EH&S areas (injuries/illnesses, industrial hygiene, non-compliance to governmental and standards, environmental impairment, etc.).
- The position is 95% safety and health and 5% environmental compliance and requires 15% travel.
Education & Backgropund
- BS/BA required coupled with 5+ years leading global EHS initiatives for a manufacturing company
- Plus 10+ years EHS / safety program experience in a manufacturing environment.
- CSP or CIH certifications are highly desired.
- Relocation assistance will be provided if needed.
