We are seeking a Staff Accountant for a Direct Hire role! Reporting directly to the Controller, the Staff Accountant will play a pivotal role in financial reporting, coordination of activities, resource management, and monthly billing and invoicing to support various projects.

Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant include:

• Collaborating with other staff members in developing proposals, budgets, and estimates for projects.


• Tracking and monitoring project schedules, deliverables, and milestones, ensuring that financial goals are met within specified timelines and budgets. T


• Analyze financial data, communicate project status


• Coordinate invoice collection with the Accounting and Accounts Receivable departments.

Basic Qualifications for the Staff Accountant :

• Bachelors degree in accounting or finance, with 3+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• Strong understanding of professional standards and practices, including GAAP, general ledger reconciliation, and analysis.


• Proficiency in data analysis, problem-solving, and presentation skills.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• Experience with Costpoint software.


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
