Support regional and global marketing campaigns and initiatives from conceptualization through execution, including design, launch, training, ongoing monitoring, and any renovation needed to deliver against goals; Create primary and secondary research methodologies for application across a global organization; Drive consumer and market derived thought leadership internally and externally; Identify and manage the resources, tools and expertise needed to deliver a steady stream of future focused knowledge to customers; Drive consumer and market knowledge through the organization to support innovation and the ability to act on emerging opportunities through traditional and non-traditional means; Serve as the futurist voice of Synergy at industry events and conferences; Support customer ideation and innovation with the development of tools, strategic approaches and ideation events; Lead cross-functional technical and commercial teams to develop innovative marketing programs and campaigns in alignment with business objectives; Identify whitespace opportunities that align with market segment and customer portfolio strategies; Support strategic planning and generation of the Annual Operating plan for the Nutrition and Dairy markets in North America; Support subsidiaries in the promotion of thought leadership expertise through participation in speaking opportunities and industry leadership networks. (Brazil, Mexico, Central America); Takes an active role in the development of all content and collateral for the platforms championed by the role; Develop sales and marketing materials, such as sell sheets, brochures, articles, presentations, white papers, videos, animations and collateral; Refresh and maintain website & social media content; Create and enhance digital marketing by creating and leveraging new content; Liaise with advertising agency as well as print suppliers, freelance talent, and various marketing services; Perform secondary market research on industry trends that help inform compelling customer-facing presentations.
2 years of experience as Analyst, Associate, Specialist, Trainee, or any occupation in which the required experience was gained, and demonstrated experience in: Working with flavors, extracts and essences; Managing marketing campaigns and trend platforms for the food, beverage and nutrition markets; Working with sports nutrition companies to develop consumer studies tailored to brand demographics with the goal of identifying flavor preferences and purchasing behavior; Tying macro trends to their impact on flavor profile selection; Leading ideation workshops and innovation programs at a flavor house; Deploying white space analysis as a competitive advantage in the marketplace for customers; Implementing new research methodology for consumer and flavor trend programs; Working closely with market and data sizing tools including Mintel, Euromonitor, Technomic and FMCG Gurus; Graphic design, layout, and creation of visual identity tools including Adobe In-Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects and CorelDraw for marketing collateral including sell sheets, brochures, presentations, white papers, social media channels, animations, campaigns, and website; Delivering presentations for multifunctional teams and customers; Sales training for new marketing programs or campaigns.
Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, or related field.
