Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Well versed with one of the programming languages (Java, Scala, or Python) and Design patterns Proven hands on experience with big data technologies like Hadoop MapReduce, Spark, Hive, Pig, HBase, Oozie, Elasticsearch, and others Master our development process, culture and code base, then improve it. Work closely with a team of engineers, product managers, user experience experts and performance engineers to build new features our customers will love, adopt and use while keeping our trusted platform stable and scalable. Understanding of database technologies such as SQL, PL/SQL and relational database schema design Familiarity with REST APIs and REST API specifications (OpenAPI, RAML, etc), and SOAP APIs Experience with open-source technologies and cloud platforms (AWS services) Working knowledge of continuous integration (Git or Perforce) and continuous deployment (Jenkins, Gradle, Jenkins pipeline, or equivalent) Agile/Scrum development methodology experience Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and six (6) months of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering).

Special Skill Requirements: 1) JAVA; 2) SQL; 3) Eclipse; 4) Git; 5) UI/UX; 6) HTML; and 7) Version Control Tools. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Salary: $147,368.00 - $195,000.00 per annum.
