Responsibilities

Prepare cost estimates for residential and commercial building construction projects. Perform residential and commercial building structural engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction of building Structures under supervision of a licensed engineer. Use experience with AutoCAD to prepare designs, calculations, and drawings. Use experience with Forte and EnerCALC to calculate loads, pressures, and stresses. Use experience with Bluebeam to provide construction administration for construction projects. Use experience with construction site management RFIs and shop drawing to address building contractor's field issues, change orders, architectural and other construction administrative documentation. Travel to various unanticipated local client’s worksites 3-4 times a year.

Requirements

* Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering, or related field;
* 2 years of experience as Senior Engineer or Design Engineer, or related job title;
* Experience with AutoCAD;
* Experience with Forte;
* Experience with EnerCALC;
* Experience with BlueBeam;
* Experience with construction site management RFIs and shop drawing; and
* Travel to various unanticipated local client’s worksites 3-4 times a year.
