Research Associate at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City: Requires PhD in biological sciences, biotechnology, or related field; at least 24 months of postdoctoral employment involving multi-disciplinary research projects that integrate disparate experimental approaches including biochemical reconstitutions, cryoEM, and molecular virology; and peer-reviewed publication demonstrating research interest in biochemical, structural, and cell biological studies. The Research Associate in the Department of Biochemistry will conduct research to elucidate the molecular mechanisms of HIV replication; publish and present results; apply for grants; assist in training and supervision of students and personnel in the lab; and assist the Principal Investigator in project development.
