Collaborate with project teams to estimate work for new and existing software applications; Design and develop new software applications based on project requirements; Develop software modules and frameworks based on object-oriented design principles; Implement new feature enhancements based on project requirements; Test, enhance, and maintain existing applications while continuously improving the codebase; Troubleshoot and debug software issues, and identify and implement solutions to ensure applications are free of errors and function as designed; Advocate for the agile process and participate in application design discussions to understand project requirements, designs, and coding standards; Support the development of coding standards, and adhere to best practices and security guidelines standardized by the development team; Research and implement new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance; Facilitate and participate in knowledge sharing sessions to encourage learning; introduce new object-oriented design principles; and foster an environment for growth and skill development.
6 months of experience as Developer, Student Researcher, Student Instructor, Intern, or any occupation in which the required experience was gained, and demonstrated experience in: Java; XML; HTML; Angular; REST and SOAP; JSON, WSDL, and XML; NodeJS; JavaScript; TypeScript; GitHub; Mongo; NoSQL; Eclipse; Cloud-based development; Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
