Responsible for providing technical leadership for assigned IT development personnel and be responsible for the technical design and implementation of mid-range software development of the assigned web services and/or applications; Work with product management, business analysts, developers, testers and architectural teams to define strategy and requirements; Develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives and secure commitment from external and internal teams for new initiatives; Provide IT technical leadership for assigned IT development activities; Drive consensus on technical approach, set timelines, and lead cross-functional application teams from design through delivery; Apply software engineering best industry practices to web applications and services; Provide technical guidance, direction, and decisions to the team, developing custom and off-the-shelf web applications and services; Lead technical design and IT implementation for mid-range software development of assigned web services and applications; Work with Application or Enterprise Architects to establish development and deployment standards, and ensure adherence to technology platform decisions.
3 years of experience as Programmer, Developer, Software Engineer, Lead, or any occupation in which the required experience was gained and demonstrated experience in: Visual Studio, ADO, and GitHub; C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework and WCF; AJAX, JQuery, JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS and Angular; DynaTrace, Moogsoft, and xMatters; MS SQL Server and Oracle Relational Databases; Integration design and development using IBM MQ technologies; ESB and SOA; Web Services methodologies using RESTful or SOAP based API’s; Third-party optimization libraries; Object oriented design and programming including design patterns and best practices; Cloud migration and implementation experience using Azure, Kubernetes, Rancher, and Apigee; Agile methodology experience including IT delivery methods; Technical Leadership experience.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Applied Computer Science, or related field. A bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a master’s degree plus 3 years of experience.
