Responsible for leveraging cutting edge technology to solve business problems in various departments at American Airlines; Analyze users’ needs and then design and develop software and applications to meet those needs; Participate in all phases of the development process from inception through transition; Analyze how IT software, programs, and applications will work together; Provide production support and be involved in maintenance and small enhancement work; Document all aspects of IT applications and analyze maintenance needs and possible upgrades; Provide support for troubleshooting IT application and software bugs; Utilize object-oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct and test reusable objects, including developing applications, which may interface with other systems in an environment committed to Service Oriented Architecture.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week/8 a.m.-5 p.m./M-F.
2 months of experience as a Developer, Engineer, or any occupation in which the required experience was gained, and demonstrated experience in: Java and Javascript; Python; Typescript; Unix and Linux; Windows; Git and GitHub; GitHub Actions and Workflows; PowerBI; Agile Development; YAML; Postgress and SQL; Application Development.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
