Responsible for overseeing and contributing to the technical approach of application design; Collaborate with developers to guide the architecture approach for the Functional and Technical Design; Review, revise, and approve the content of design documents; Create required documents to support technical application architecture, vision, strategy, standards, policies, and presentations; Continually contribute technical input and responses in meetings and discussions in order to support the best application architecture; Escalate technical issues when needed to keep project on track and minimize risk; Create, maintain, and communicate application architecture standards and procedures related to design, development, and other associated activities; Review Business Requirements documents and, where applicable, offer alternative best-practice solutions prior to start of design; Review source code changes and/or unit test cases when applicable (i.e. where design, coding or project can involve high risk); Provide technical assistance and feedback, as needed, related to the M&E application and its architecture; Consult and advise resources for related application architecture and infrastructure services and technologies; Apply appropriate technology to reduce costs and/or improve productivity resulting in value to the company; Maintain an effective approach on problem solving, multi-tasking, coordinating, and scheduling in accordance with stated goals to ensure visibility and predictability; Influence and empower team members for growth and independence.
5 years of experience as Developer, Analyst, or any occupation in which the required experience was gained, and demonstrated experience in: Azure Kubernetes Services, Container Orchestration, and Publishing Docker images for Kubernetes; Application development using Object oriented techniques and principals with Java Springboot framework, JSP, JDBC, and JAXB; Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using Github, Kustomize, Argo Workflows, GitActions Maven, Jenkins, and Runway; Dynatrace, Azure Data Explorer, Nifi, logDNA, Mezmo, Databricks, and Datalake; Implementing and managing SSL certificates; Microsoft Azure Cloud; Load balancing concepts and experience with highly available distributed environments, Firewalls, TCP/IP, hardware load-balancing, Akamai, and Apigee; Coverity, SonarQube, AquaScan, Elastic Search, FluentBit, and Kibana; Azure PostgreSQL; Production support, Disaster Recovery experience and Incident management experience with Moogsoft, xMatters, and Grafana; High-Level Design (HLD) and Detailed Level Designs (DLD); Implementing Unix Shell Scripting, YAML, IBM MQ, REST, SOAP, JSON, WSDL, XML, HTML, CSS, and Thymeleaf; JUNIT, Test driven development, Terraform, and JMeter; Migration of applications to cloud environments through automation and orchestration; Agile methodologies including SCRUM.
