Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Plan, document, lead complex technical production infrastructure/reliability engineering projects; build/code systems for SentinelOne’s engineers to deliver features safely, quickly, reliably; act as expert/enabler for engineering teams to move Cloud-native model; automate infrastructure deployment [Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) using terraform]; implement Kubernetes best practices using admission controller webhook kyverno; address security issues in deployments; use automation principles/programming (Python, Golang); own key metrics regarding performance, throughput, security, reliability, failure rates; improve SDLC/development efficiency of partner engineering teams; code in python/ruby/java/go to build automation in support of increasing production uptime; utilize/advocate for modern tools (K8s, ArgoCD, terraform, Helm, OPA) to improve operational efficiency; mentor/support junior engineers through coaching/knowledge sharing; communicate/coordinate with engineering teams to identify/remediate architectural scaling constraints; support/troubleshoot production infrastructure/applications running in multiple cloud providers; contribute to on-call rotation; deliver tools to improve reliability/scalability of dataset services; measure/monitor availability, latency, overall service health; facilitate incident response; conduct root cause analysis/blameless retrospectives; automate build/deployment of infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, orchestration technologies) in cloud environment; improve alerting signals to noise; focus on services/business metrics; and work with compliance teams to provide evidence for successful SOC Audit. May travel to various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. This is a telecommuting position with remote benefit from anywhere in the U.S. Travel is required.

Job Requirements:

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Engineering, or related field plus 2 years experience. Experience to include automating infrastructure deployment [Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) using terraform]; implementing Kubernetes best practices using admission controller webhook kyverno addressing security issues in deployments; and using automation principles/programming (Python, Golang). May travel to various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. This is a telecommuting position with remote benefit from anywhere in the U.S. Travel is required.
