We are currently hiring an on-site Accounting Clerk for our team due to growth! Our standard hours for this position are Monday - Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm.

Position Summary:

Accounts Payable:

Stamping invoices the day they come in and separating bills to the proper division
Entering bills into QuickBooks
Checking bills in QuickBooks (verifying they are coded correctly and entered into proper vendor).
Filing bills in date, and chronological order
Processing all transactions
Assisting with new vendor validation and setup
Checking statements from vendors
Check run day: Helping find the bills that match the check
Scan checks onto company network
Accounts Receivable

Check shipment register weekly to verify all shipments have been invoiced
Scan invoices onto company network
Communicate with customers regarding payment status
General

Bank account reconciliations
Helping with general journal entries such as accruals and prepaid expenses
Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:

Proven ability to learn ERP manufacturing systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to develop a strong understanding of the business.
Ability to work in a collaborative manner.
Takes initiative and works independently.
