We are seeking candidates for the following position based in the Mexico City office and be onsite 3 days a week.:


What can you expect?


Technology Portfolio Analysts (TPAs) are senior level analysts who:
Evaluate new technology opportunities and strategic initiatives
Create wireframes and mock-ups to validate and communicate strategic vision
Compare solution options to find the best fit for the business need
Define functional design of application solutions to ensure they deliver business value.
TPAs bring together different teams to produce solution proposals. Some examples of collaborations are with:
Business stakeholders to understand the domain context, and current business need
Technical Product Managers (TPMs) and Product Owners (POs) to identify technology solutions for new business opportunities, platform upgrades and/or aggregations.
Development team POD Leadership Teams to gather estimates for delivery
Architects to ensure solutions align with MMC technology strategy
CapEx Coordinators, ePMO and Product Council leaders on quarterly CapEx assessments

We will count on you to:


Lead the Technology Assessment and Estimation process for net new initiatives and major enhancements to existing products
Produce summary outputs and status updates on the Technology CapEx Assessments
Provide reports to senior leadership to enable strategic decision making
Facilitate discovery sessions to gather requirements from business stakeholders and product owners
Bring together colleagues from global business and technology teams to reach a shared understanding of the ask, and ensure the solution meets the need
Provide analysis expertise to ensure business requirements are consistently converted into solutions consisting of epics and features, considering technical constraints and existing technical architecture/functionality
Collaborate with leaders in the delivery team to keep the Pod appraised of upcoming new business demand through the Assessments Process
Continually improve the process through increased efficiency in requirement gathering
Ensure that analysis standards and processes are followed throughout assessments and requirements gathering
Ensure that MMC and Mercers technical and security standards and processes are followed during solution design.
Support TPMs with evaluation of RFP responses from vendors


What you need to have:


3+ years of experience.
Experience in delivering IT projects using an Agile methodology
Ability to break down complex business requirements into functional epics and features
Experience in collaborating with business stakeholders and technology colleagues
Experience in evaluating a business need and identifying solutions.
Ability to communicate with people at all levels of an organisation
Producing high quality documentation that is clear, concise and relevan
Can quickly build an understanding of a new business domain or technology environment
Ability to conceptualise, e.g. to identify commonality across apparently different systems
An appreciation of how technical and functional solutions can be combined to provide a total 'fit' to customers' requirements
Structured thought processes, strong judgement, decision making and problem solving abilities
Sound understanding of the underlying technology concepts required to deliver end to end solutions that meet client needs
Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively to meet tight deadlines with proven planning and organisational skills
Have participated in full lifecycle development on large projects (more than 15 people and longer than 6 months)

Competencies in the following areas would be a plus:
Creating process flows in Visio
Creating product wireframes in Figma
Building advanced formula in Excel
Framing a narrative creatively in PowerPoint
Using Mural or other collaborative platforms
Using PowerBI or other BI tools to help combine and visualize data from different sources
