Job Title: Data Migration Specialist Location: Remote Duration- 12+ Month (Long Term) Responsibilities: 5+ years of experience SQL Server, AWS RDS, S3, DMS, AppDynamics and PostgreSQL. Assess data storage requirements, formats, and dependencies. Identify potential challenges and risks related to data migration. Contribute to the development of the overall migration plan. Develop a comprehensive data migration strategy, considering the specific needs of each client. Define migration methods and tools based on the assessment of existing data structures. Consider data cleansing, transformation, and validation requirements. Collaborate with AppDynamics and other tools to map dependencies between applications and data. Create data models and mapping documentation to ensure accurate and efficient migration. Execute the data migration plan in coordination with the overall project timeline. Monitor the migration process to identify and address any issues promptly. Collaborate with the Cloud Architects and other teams to ensure data consistency and integrity during the migration. Develop and execute validation tests to ensure data accuracy post-migration. Collaborate with the Validation and Integration teams to validate the overall functionality and performance of the migrated data.
