We are seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead this group and report directly to ownership. This is a newly created position. You may be interested in this opportunity if you have the proven ability to lead multiple stores, mentor a great staff, and raise the bar on sales, CSI, and profitability.



Take-charge leadership: We are not looking for a person who waits to be told what to do. This is very important; our VP of Operations will take initiative. We do not want nor need a person who is tentative, and waiting to be told what to do. We need an active, take-charge leader, a mover and shaker. Assess policies and procedures, review team and improve managers skills, find ways to improve dealership performance. Does this sound like you? I hope it does!

Passion for the industry cannot be overstated. We are seeking a candidate who truly enjoys the automotive retail business. This is a very hands-on role. This is not a good opportunity for an executive who stays in their office and just crunch numbers. You will be expected to "raise the bar" in staff development, sales, profitability, and CSI.



Our Vice President of Operations will have P&L responsibility, assess all stores, their staff, and policies and procedures, evaluate them, and look for ways to improve.

This ideal candidate will also possess the following skills/experiences/abilities:



  • Successful automotive multi-store leadership

  • A proven record of sustainable success

  • Dynamic, initiator

  • Excellent work ethic

  • Proven high performer (we will ask for examples of where you "raised the bar")

  • Great factory references

  • Ability to build and lead your team

  • Team player with the ability to coordinate efforts with sales staff , service, and office

  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills

  • Financial statement savvy

  • Must be very up to date with the online auto buyer and the social media users

  • Ability to relocate to Midwestern state
