We are motivated and searching for a Corporate Controller for our Headquarters, located in greater Charleston, SC area. You will have 3-4 direct reports and will report directly to the CFO, overseeing all of the day-to-day full-cycle Accounting functions for the company. We need a self-starter that is PLUG and PLAY.

Duties for the Corporate Controller:

• Own all of the day to day full cycle financial accounting duties


• Responsible for leading and managing corporate accounting group; managing and implementing standard accounting policies and procedures


• Review financial and operational results of manufacturing facilities and work with leadership to generate strategic initiatives to increase manufacturing efficiency and improve profitability. Support the use of KPIs and dashboards to facilitate management decisions


• Partner with commercial team to develop financial modeling to support growth strategies and enhance margin performance


• Support the formal annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for the Division. Review monthly plant forecasts for feasibility and reasonability. Partner with the CFO to generate the consolidated budget and forecast


• Support the preparation of quarterly Divisional financial analysis to be presented to the Board of Directors and assist the corporate finance team in the preparation of the MD&A and financial statements


• Review local accounting records of the manufacturing sites to ensure accuracy in accordance with US GAAP. Ensure consistent implementation of effective internal controls across the manufacturing sites


• Work with Auditors in performing financial audits and implementing audit recommendations


• Review month-end reconciliation and account closing processes
