Salary: $27.00 per hour
Start date: As soon as possible
Work locations: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver, and Fraser Valley (BC) as per company contracts.

Job duties

• Align and straighten tile using levels, squares and straightedges Prepare, measure and mark surface to be covered.
• Measure and cut tiles using hand and power cutting tools and fit around obstacles and openings.
• Prepare, apply, and spread mortar, cement, glue, or other adhesives using hand trowel.
• Set tiles or marble to walls, floors, ceilings, and roof decks.
• Cut, polish, and install marble and granite.
• Clean and level the surface to be tiled.
• Remove & replace damaged tiles.
• Arrange tiles per the design plans.

Job requirements

• Completion of Secondary School required
• Completion of 3-4 years apprenticeship program in relevant trade or over 3 years of experience in related field is required
• Functional English is required
