Position Description:

Coordinates Agile efforts using Jira and Agile Craft/Jira Align. Provides Jira Align support by logging issues and achieving a resolution with a vendor. Provides support and maintenance of Cloud Platform upgrades and incident resolution. Provides analysis leadership on complex systems analysis projects, often across subsystems and companies, in a matrix organization. Consults with business users to develop recommendations that address difficult and complex business needs and opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Leads and conducts interviews with business users to gather requirements, and analyzes technology needs and system and workflow challenges.
· Develops recommendations that address difficult and complex business needs and opportunities.
· Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex systems analysis projects and defines project scope.
· Leads other analysts in the execution of documents on large and complex projects and monitors the quality and progress of documents created by other analysts.
· Designs new systems based on requirements.
· Leads and participates in the definition of test strategies, and coordinates user acceptance testing efforts.
· Communicates progress of multiple projects to management, engages stakeholders on a regular basis, and manages expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
· Serves as industry subject matter expert and identifies other subject matter experts who are the sources of requirements for large and complex projects.
· Works with other teams to evolve standards and best practices for systems analysis processes.
· Participates in incident/crisis management to assess business impact, determine/facilitate any workarounds, in concert with the production support organization.
· Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies.
· Coaches and mentors junior product analysts and developers on systems analysis techniques and business workflows.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Systems Analyst (or closely related occupation) performing system analysis and support of Cloud based applications and SaaS platforms according to Agile methodologies using Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) Cloud and SQL Database.

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Systems Analyst (or closely related occupation) performing system analysis and support of Cloud based applications and SaaS platforms according to Agile methodologies using Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) Cloud and SQL Database.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

· Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) managing requirements for Agile tools -- JIRA, Jira Align, and Confluence; performing source system dependency analysis using external systems; and developing technology roadmaps, strategy, and system enhancements using AWS EC2, RDS, S3, CFT, PostgreSQL, and REST APIs to support business processes.
· DE facilitating the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) according to Agile methodologies -- backlog creation, story estimation, daily scrums, sprint reviews, retrospectives, sprint, and release planning -- to integrate and enhance Agile enablement platforms; and supporting portfolio management suite of third-party Cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) product using AWS Cloud, SQL database, and POSTMAN.
· DE performing product upgrades, plugin installation, data refreshes, integrations, production and non-production environment support; and managing the work intake process and integrating complex systems using AWS Cloud, SQL, and vendor recommended solutions to meet business and enterprise use cases.
· DE providing consultation to internal business partners using data lakes and reporting platforms; supporting a monitoring and analytics culture across the enterprise by enabling self-service analytics using CloudWatch and Datadog dashboards.
