Salesforce Inc. seeks Lead Security Engineer in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Perform black-box penetration testing and code reviews of flagship services, product offerings, and partners apps. Guide the technology organization's security and privacy initiatives by participating in design reviews and threat modeling. Perform cutting-edge applied research on new attacks and present new findings to both internal and external audiences. Identify and protect against web application and web service security vulnerabilities including those found in the OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) Top 10 and CWE (Common Weakness Enumeration) Top 25. Evaluate application security tools for internal consumption and develop new automation and tooling to improve Salesforce’s detection and prevention capabilities. Develop secure code practices and provide hands-on training to developers and quality engineers. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Static Analysis; (2) Runtime Analysis; (3) Black-Box Testing; (4) Java; (5) JavaScript; (6) NodeJS; (7) PHP; (8) Python; (9) Building Engineering Solutions; and (10) Auditing newly built products/applications/platforms to identify potential information security risks.

Salary: $176,800.00 - $265,200.00 per annum.
