Associate (Equity Derivatives Exotics) for BNP Paribas Securities Corp. in New York, NY, to function as a Stock Exotics Trader within Equity Derivatives to manage US stock exotics, which include all the structured products and exotic options sold by sales teams worldwide on U.S. stocks and U.S. exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Managed products encompass autocallable and callable notes, knockout forwards, barrier, lookback, and quanto options, market-linked certificates of deposit, and other exotic products. Monitor on a daily basis the financial risk measures of the book and manage the same to stay within the internal and regulatory limits. Maintain pricing shift databases on underlying systems, including systematic pricing shifts used internally by salespeople through pricing platforms to show prices to clients. Directly handle the pricing of customized and unusual pricing requests on exotic options. Improve the risk monitoring setup of the book as well as the automation of the recurring tasks linked to the book. Develop the structured product commercial franchise in coordination with sales teams worldwide through client meetings and product presentations. Coordinate with structuring teams to generate innovative trading ideas and propose new underlyings. Calculate and review a daily estimate of Profit and Loss (PnL), risk, and qualitative analysis.

Requires: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Finance, Economics or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of experience as an Associate (Equity Derivatives Exotics) or related occupation performing financial analysis for equity derivatives within an international bank or international financial services organization or, alternatively, a Master's degree in Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Finance, Economics or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and one (1) years of experience as an Associate (Equity Derivatives Exotics) or related occupation performing financial analysis for equity derivatives within an international bank or international financial services organization. Specific skills/other requirements - Demonstrated Expertise (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated expertise (DE) pricing exotic equity products, including hybrids and hedging risk using volatility, correlation and dividend models; (DE) designing and building trading tools and managing positions of equity derivatives products within a framework of risk limits and regulatory requirements; (DE) managing stochastic correlation models for equity and foreign exchange (FX) correlation couples using local volatility models for the correlation dynamics, together with their implications, associated risks, and specificities; and (DE) designing and building trading tools and automated processes for the industrialization of trading and risk management using VBA and Python.
