Hamilton Partners is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a General Manager for Hamilton Lakes Athletic Club. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of facility operations, including membership management, maintenance, cleaning, and general operations, to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the club.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Facility Management: Oversee the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the facility, ensuring that all equipment, amenities, and common areas are well-maintained and in excellent condition.
2. Membership Management: Develop and implement strategies to attract new members, retain existing members, and enhance member satisfaction. This includes overseeing membership sign-ups, providing exceptional customer service, and addressing member inquiries and concerns.
3. Operations Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations, including staff scheduling, payroll, and ensuring that all club policies and procedures are followed. Address any operational issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency and member experience.
4. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of front desk staff, cleaning staff, and maintenance personnel. Provide leadership and support to ensure that all team members are aligned with club goals and standards.
5. Financial management: Monitor accounts receivables, and all insurance-based programs and outsourced membership plans offered to members.
6. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards. Implement and oversee safety protocols and emergency procedures to provide a safe environment for members and staff.
7. Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with members and the local community and represent the club at community events and industry functions.
Qualifications and Skills: -
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, sports management, or a related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in a leadership or management role within the fitness or health club industry
• Strong understanding of health club operations, membership management, and customer service best practices
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in financial management and budgeting
• Ability to make strategic decisions and drive business growth
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards
