Hamilton Partners is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Fitness/Group Exercise and Sports Court Manager for Hamilton Lakes Athletic Club. This Manager will oversee all aspects of fitness programs at the club including group exercise, personal training, sport court scheduling and general operations, to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the club.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Facility Management: Oversee the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the facility, ensuring that all equipment, amenities, and common areas are well-maintained and in excellent condition.
2. Membership Management: Develop and implement strategies to attract new members, retain existing members, and enhance member satisfaction. This includes overseeing membership sign-ups, providing exceptional customer service, and addressing member inquiries and concerns.
3. Fitness Operations Oversight: Act as primary point of contact for fitness instructors. Responsible for staff scheduling for training, group fitness classes, ensuring that all club policies and procedures are followed. Address any operational issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency and member experience. Maintain bios for training staff/instructors for publicity to maximize member engagement.
4. Health and Safety Compliance: Assist General Manager to comply with health and safety regulations and industry standards. Implement and oversee safety protocols and emergency procedures to provide a safe environment for members and staff. Focus on gym floor safety and awareness.
7. Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with members and the local community and represent the club at community events and industry functions. Develop and promote club events and personal training services at the club.
Qualifications and Skills: -
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, sports management, or a related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in a leadership or management role within the fitness or health club industry
• Strong understanding of health club operations, membership management, and customer service best practices
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in financial management and budgeting
• Ability to make strategic decisions and drive business growth
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards
