Investment Analyst (New York, NY): Conduct long and short idea generation, investment research and analysis, and financial modeling for the investment management firm, with a focus on the healthcare sector. Establish an effective and repeatable research and investment process within the coverage model for the healthcare sector. Build proprietary financial models in Excel for healthcare companies. Conduct due diligence calls on healthcare companies for the firm’s current investments and on new healthcare companies for future potential investments. Perform fundamental research and financial analysis on portfolio companies on an ongoing basis as well as conduct in-depth research and analysis on new companies. Maintain and consistently update proprietary financial models to reflect the news flow, near-term catalysts and valuation for these companies. Cover earnings calls for the healthcare sector on a quarterly basis and continually update Expected Value and Earnings Previews for the healthcare companies. Salary is $190,000 annually.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience as Investment Analyst, Financial Analyst, or related position. Experience in investment research and financial modeling for the companies in the healthcare sector. Experience building financial models for companies in the healthcare sector. Experience analyzing and assessing risks related to investments in healthcare sector considering company’s financial status.
